It's kinda hard to believe that Prince has been in the public consciousness for almost 31 years now. He is a force of nature. He's the best of Jimi Hendrix, Sly Stone, Marc Bolan, James Brown and George Clinton and that's an understatement in describing the breadth of his genius. He can outfunk, outrock, outscream, outjam the so called "best" music acts performing today. Like our First Lady - and Alice Walker - he makes the color purple cool. He is so badass - he can change his name to unpronounceable symbol and still have fans screaming his (um) name. Still need proof?
