With a blog that has as it's focus Rock musicians who happened to be Women of Color, I'm sure the inevitable question will be asked, "Is this blog racist?" It's a fair question. However, the intention of this blog is not to be exclusionary. Although this blog highlights the Women of Color who are fans and creators of Rock music, it welcomes visitors of every persuasion who are also fans of these women. More importantly, this blog is meant to remind all lovers of Rock music that Sistahs can "rock" as hard as anyone else. To the Sistahs of Rock - and especially to those who appreciate them - I salute you.
